'I was reading a memoir written by my Grandpa and I realised that all my family came from the land and I thought that was something that should be celebrated. I wrote it after a couple of days driving across New South Wales where we had been listening to a lot of Paul Simon and I think the song ended up having that ‘movement’ in it.' - Fanny

'Making this clip was one of the most special and personal creative projects I have been part of.  Collaborating with Sam, Anna, and Dan, seems to become a more natural creative process each time, with everyone thoroughly on the same page in terms of vision and shots. We really wanted to make a clip that was as honest and real as possible, that used moments to tell the story of heartache, hard work and happiness endured by life on the land, but that mostly showed family.  We also wanted to continue the narrative from our other two film clips for Soapbox and Land of Gold, which both feature the same family members, communities, and regions' - Fanny

This is Grandma and Grandpa Hardie. Grandpa Hardie wrote a memoir which inspired Bravest of Hearts. We filmed their reaction to hearing the finished track for the first time.
