COUNTRY HALLS TOUR
COUNTRY HALLS TOUR (2012 - 2017)
The Country Halls Tour is an annual event, thats now in its 6th year, where we take our 'all-in-community-night-out' to halls in regional and remote Australia. Raising funds for the halls as we go, we just love bringing a night of live music and story telling to your halls and putting on something that is usually reserved for the big towns and cities. With my band the Thrillseekers in tow and all the bells and whistles of our 'country halls show', we love getting out and meeting you all, seeing your fantastic old halls, locating the picture of the queen and learning all about your communities. We feature young local artists and also often put on workshops in the towns as we go through. I feel ridiculously lucky to be doing this tour every year and all of you coming out to see it.
This year we had over 40 halls apply to host the tour and are trying our darnedest to get to as many as possible. Announcements and tickets going on sale soon!
HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who helped make the past Country Halls Tours a MASSIVE success! With almost all the nights sold out or at capacity we couldn't be more proud and wrapped with how the past few years have gone. It is a privilege for us to be able to come and play in your wonderful halls to you and your wonderful communities.

2017/2018 Country Halls Applications are now closed - THAnK YOU to everyone who applied! We will be in touch shortly!
This year marks the 6th annual Country Halls tour! We have played in a lot of halls, driven a lot of KM's and met a lot of wonderful folk... so lets do it again! Last years tour was pretty much sold out and reckon we can do it again!
There are a few things you need to know before you apply and I have listed them below. Please note that this is an expression of interest so if you are interested... apply!
WHAT YOU NEED
A local Hall
Community champions/volunteers to help coordinate things, excite the community and get them involved (this plays a really important role in making this a success).
A local group (eg/ Footy club, P&C or the Hall Committee etc.) to put on a BBQ/Supper.
An enthusiastic and fun—loving community
WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE
The Band, the music, the good times (Fanny Lumsden & the Thrillseekers + Support)
PA, sound and lights.
PR and marketing for the event locally and nationally
Option for workshops for School & Community (How to be a DIY Musician + playing in band or Crowd funding)
THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE APPLYING
These are stand alone events, eg/ we are not the cover band for your ball or presentation night and we have a particular way that we run them in order to make sure they are a success for everyone.
You need to be committed to rally your troops - don't just apply and expect it all just to happen - this is a community event so we need a community effort to make it a success.
There will be an info pack and check lists to help you along the way as well as resources and mentoring from other halls and committees that have run successful events in the past.
Please check your local and regional calendar for other events that may clash when choosing dates (including things like harvest, footy grandfinals, deb balls etc)
